Project E.A.R released “Destination Nowhere” on 26 July 2019. The track is the first single off the upcoming double EP “Conflicts & Resolutions” scheduled for release in October 2019. Destination Nowhere is a melancholic track that covers a very serious and current issue of mental depression and emotional stress. The band reflects on personal battles and the highs and lows of being in a band over the years. Sweet melodic guitars laced with a thumping hip hop beat sets the mood for jamir’s sweet and gritty vocals that has an air of emptiness and sadness. Produced by James Dewees (The Get Up Kids/Reggie and the Full Effect) and Project E.A.R, the track also features Ray Toro (My Chemical Romance) on guitars and programming. The single was Mixed by grammy award winning mixing engineer Doug Mckean, who also mixed Zayn’s Icarus and My Chemical Romance’s the black parade. In conjunction with the release of the double EP, Project .EA.R will be hosting a very special pre release gig at The bee in Publika, Kuala Lumpur on 8 September 2019. The gig will feature preview of the songs off conflicts and resolutions as well as hits from each bands former reportaire. Aman Ra and Oh Chentaku will be joining the boys to ensure a rocking night out!
